Nadia Gueddouh

Nadia Gueddouh’s (b. 1991) practice is closely connected to that which is slow and silent. As an artist she has the ability to encapsulate a feeling of tranquility. There exists an absence of noise in Gueddouh’s work, even though it is filled with movement and information. She pays close attention to colours and their materiality and tries not to force her creative process. Instead she insists on listening to her body’s movements and its intuitive sensuousness, wherein colours are felt deeply beyond their literal meaning.
