Clemens Dod Mantle
Influenced by a longstanding relationship with, and an ever-evolving understanding of the nonverbal, Clemens Dod Mantle’s practice draws on the gestural qualities of certain satire, film and animation along with the idiosyncratic exchanges that play out in everyday life. Incorporating the latent residue of people as a material, he explores the expressive potential of mundane being’s nonverbal nature.
