Anne Sofie Djernis
Anne Sofie Djernis’ (b. 1993) focus is on movement, gesticulation, intensity and tonality, through which she examines how the visual starting point of an artwork is erased through the act of painting. Her process is centered around the inter action between bodily intuition and immediate visual response. She is inspired by existing figurative material, which is then transformed as she transfers it into her own artistic language.
